I'm a proud
lifetime resident of Mesquite, from the Little Red School House
to a graduate of Mesquite High School. I consider it a privilege
to be able to serve the community that I call home.
Many
people have asked me about the phrase
"New Hope." Why call a funeral home New Hope?
New Hope
has many meanings...
New
Hope was one of the four communities that came together in 1953
to form Sunnyvale, TX.
To many,
"New Hope" means that our personal faith provides eternal
security and release from all the cares of this life.
To others,
"New Hope" may signify the beginning of a new journey
or a quest for purpose.
I
have worked the last several years in the corporate world of the
Funeral Industry. And in that corporate world are many, many,
caring and loving people who are great at what they do. But being
in that corporate world some things have been taken out of their
control.
So to me
"New Hope" also means going back to the way things were
before corporations took over the local funeral home...back when
decisions were made to benefit the community, not Wall Street.
It is our
pledge at New Hope Funeral Home to give you the warm and caring

Hutchinson has been a licensed Funeral Director for 34 years.
He was the Managing Funeral Director for Restland Funeral Home
in Dallas, Texas from 1992 to 1998. He was awarded "Funeral Director
of the Year" by the North Texas Funeral Directors Association
in 1999.
